Crude oil gas offshore extraction process?

I have an interview tomorrow and they are going to ask me about the oil and gas industry. A brief overview of the extraction process of crude oil, and other process's involved (namely on offshore locations) would be greatly appreciated.

In brief, and with sequence:
- Drill a well by drilling equipment on the platforms
- Fix the well with a set of valves called the christmas tree
- Connect the well with gathering header which houses several wells or could be a manifold
